When a routine “clean upˮ goes wrong, three blue-collar criminals hide from the inevitable at a cabin in the woods, but tensions within the group reach a boiling point as their pursuers close in and old wounds reopen.
I wrote, directed, and produced the proof-of-concept short film Ashes Under The Sand. I convinced friends, family, and strangers to back our Kickstarter, and raised 111% of our goal. The film screened nationwide in 2025. Together, we built a community of over 120 people, and I spent two years sending weekly updates to our backers. It was exhausting, but it was also the most fun I’ve ever had.
